Summer Brings Changes to Library Schedules

Summer is just around the corner, and that brings some changes to the Ridgefield Library.

·         Starting June 20th, we will be closed on Sundays until after Labor Day. The rest of the weekly schedule stays the same:  Monday/Wednesday/Friday 10 AM to 6 PM, Tuesday/Thursday 10 AM to 9 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM.  On Sundays, check out the many online resources available at our “virtual branch” at www.ridgefieldlibrary.org.
·         The last session of Scrabble for the summer will be on Tuesday, June 1st.  These popular weekly meetings will resume in the fall.
·         Summer Reading Programs for children, teens and adults begin on Wednesday, June 23rd.  Check our website for details, including new procedures for SRP volunteer sign-up.
·         To ease the parking crunch due to CHIRP events on Tuesdays, our Hollister Film Series will move to Wednesdays during the summer, starting June 23rd.  There will be some variation from the regular every-other-week schedule, to accommodate other events already on the calendar, so check our website for details, sign up for our e-mail newsletter or join us on Twitter to stay up with the latest.
